Even when I lose I'm winning

It's a new life. I'm leading one.
Acquaintances, schoolmates, friends, close friends, best friend.
If not for any of them (and well ultimately myself) I guess I wouldn't have picked myself up this fast.
"You smoke, you drink, you go home only when you are physically worn out, and you open yourself up to... opportunities."

2015 started off well: January has been good. Phew.

Good things come after bad times.
And just today,
"Went home already? I'm driving, I can meet you for dinner"
"I'm in town, where you heading?"
"Anywhere. I can pick u up, I'm near"

Let me count my blessings.

You, for the last-minute mugging sessions
You, for waiting up for me each night
You, for driving me home at 3am after a helluva night
You, for taking care of me each time I was dead drunk
You, for the weekly routine
You, for the late night supper treats
You, for the goose liver and steak
You, for the promise you keep
You, for the spontaneity
You, for the constant support

Thank You, each one of you.

At this point of time it's not about finding another person to love.
It's about finding who you are as a person, as a human.
It's only when you don't have to consider anyone else that you can focus completely on your life.
And creating the best possible version of, yourself.

Good luck.
